Beginning in 1948 with
the Shinnston to Monongah waterline, Hornor Brothers Engineers has engineered numerous water projects in the north central West
Virginia area. In the last 40 years water distribution and design has comprised a large portion of Hornor Brothers Engineers' business. Water projects have ranged in size from small line extensions on existing systems, to the development of complete water facilities where there was no central system. HBE specializes in the redesign and rehabilatation of aging, undersized systems that have been unable to keep up with subsequent growth.
The firm offers services in the area of water resources which include expertise in feasibility studies, funding applications,
design, construction inspection, project management and start-up.
